Below are a list of questions commonly answered. These are provided to assist you, however, we welcome direct communication, so please feel free to give us a call or use our contact page here to submit a question.

Q. Image Ownership - Who has ownership of the photos?
A. You do. We do not retain ownership of the images. Ownership is yours at no additional cost. Upon completion, we provide all high resolution images to you. However, we reserve the right to use your photos for our own marketing/advertising requirements.

Q. Booking Deposit - Do you require a retainer on booking?
A. Yes. It is necessary to request a NZ$ 300.00 retainer to ensure that your day is booked with us. This retainer forms part of your overall fee and is not in addition to the photography fee.

Q. Booking Deposit - When should this retainer be paid?
A. As soon as possible. In order to secure your booking.

Q. Payment Balance - When is the balance payable?
A. 21 Days prior to wedding date.

Q. Agreements - Do you provide written agreements?
A. Yes. Written Agreements are provided to the couple upon booking. This agreement outlines our involvement and what service you will receive and what each parties responsibilities are.

Q. Final Material - When do we receive our photographs?
A. Within 10 working days wherever possible. The on-line gallery is typically available within 3 working days of the wedding.

Q. Useful Links - Do you benefit from listings in "Useful Links"?
A. No. The useful links are provided simply as a service, we accept and receive no financial benefit from those listed on our useful links page. There is no requirement that if undertaking our service that you are required to use any of those listed on our useful links page or visa-versa. 

Q. Meeting - Do we get to meet with you prior to the wedding?
A. Absolutely. It is vital that we meet prior to the wedding (on occasions and if necessary several times – at either parties request), so that we may understand your likes and dislikes – essentially to get to know you as best we can. Knowing you enables us to capture those special moments. In addition, we also like (if possible) to meet both the Bride’s and Grooms parents too, again so as to fully understand your requirements and how best we can capture your special day.


In addition, once a booking has been made with the church (or place of ceremony) and reception venue, we like to visit the location prior to the day in order to best evaluate its lighting and vantage points for photography so as to avoid any second guessing on the day. This can be done with the couple or not.

Q. Other Services - Do you provide other services?
A. Yes. Through our agency - Savant Graphic Design and Advertising Limited, we can assist with the design of your invitations, thank you cards, table seating cards etc. In fact any of the elements associated with the event. Select
Design by Savant GD&A from the menu.
